The vision for Restoration Church was placed in the heart of founding Pastor Mark Kremer in early 2006...and in His time, God called the vision into reality!
Restoration Church was God's response to a very painful and difficult time in Pastor Mark's life in which his marriage of almost 20 years ended. In the aftermath, he struggled with not only the challenge of now being a single dad...but also the heavy burden of wondering how, or if, God could ever use him again. It was in the midst of that struggle God began to show Himself strong and faithful...He had other plans in mind, after all...He was, and is, the God of Restoration!!
With time, God began to reveal His healing hand in Pastor Mark's life! After much prayer, time to struggle with and learn from his mistakes, time alone in the desert with God, and time to heal Pastor Mark followed the calling of the Holy Spirit and planted Restoration Church of the Brazos Valley!
Our Ministry Focus...
Restoration Church is dedicated to living out a two-fold ministry focus: First, offering hope, renewal and restoration from the brokenness, hurt, and failure many experience in their daily lives....and second, focusing on being a spiritual home for mature Christians who are dedicated to, longing for, and willing to live out the call of Christ to be ministers of the message of reconciliation. These two ministry focuses help Restoration Church to live out the parable of the Shepherd and the lost sheep through empowering believers to be used by God to reach those who are lost and hurting.
In short, Restoration Church is all about living out the mandate of Christ to help our brothers and sisters who have struggled and fallen...it is about being a place of growth and nurture for believers who are hungry to really make a difference in the world...and it is about giving a place of encouragement and equipping for those believers who want more...who want to be clay in the Potter's hand for His glory and honor...not their glory and honor or the glory and honor of Restoration Church...but for God's!!
