We have doubled in size in the last few months...and with that growth comes the need for people who feel the call of God on their lives to servce and make a difference in the lives of people around them! God gives each one of us gifts and graces for use in His Kingdom. Maybe you've never been allowed to serve...or you weren't in the "inner circle" that did everything...or maybe you've just never seen yourself as someone who has any talents that God can use!?
At Restoration Church, there's a place for everyone to use there skills, gifts and talents for the Kingdome of God. Here are just a few areas in which we need people with a servant's heart.
Areas of Need
Prayer--We need Prayer Warriors to cover this move of the Holy Spirit in anointed prayer. Pastor Mark needs people that he knows he can call anytime, 24/7, and they will take a need to the Lord! If you have a really calling to prayer...please join us as we seek to be obedient to the leading of God.
Outreach Volunteers--At Restoration Church, we believe for church to truly be lived out, we have to get outside the walls of the church. We are planning ministries such as "Restoration Builders" where once a month we go into the community and reach out to he elderly, widows, or disabled and fix broken windows, stairs, do painting, light plumbing or electrical (things that don't need a permit), replace light bulbs, fix a floor...and do it all without charge!! We are also wanting to launch a Mobile Puppet Ministry where on a weekly basis we go into poorer neighborhoods and bring the Gospel to the kids through puppets, candy, kid's worship songs and love. We are also planning outreaches to the addicted, those who need help with their families, and a monthly medical clinic...and all of this for FREE. So we really need the folks to make this vision come about!
Children's Workers*--The youngest ones among us need to know Jesus Christ, and Restoration Church is committed to providing a solid Christian foundation upon which children can base their life. We need volunteers to teach Children's Church. To work with our "tweener" kids, 10-12, in K4C (Kids for Christ). We want to develop a children's music and drama ministry.
On-The-Run Evangelism--Does sharing the Gospel with someone you don't even know bother you?? If not, then we need you for our On-The-Run Evagelism outreach. On a monthly basis we go into the neighborhoods and knock on people's door inviting them to church. Often times the opportunity to share the Gospel opens up! You will run into Muslims, Hindus, Buddists, Jews, folks for all different religious backgrounds and you will get the opportunity to share Jesus with them!! If this gets your heart racing...then join us!!
Praise Team--If you play lead guitar, bass or drums, if you sing....and you do it well, and are committed to being at practice Thursday nights about 9pm and ready to go on Sunday mornings at about 10:15am....then we need you!! We are always looking to add to and improve our Praise Team. As a fairly new church, there are tons of opportunities!
