Restoration Church offers its members many opportunities to grow in, and stretch, their faith! While we may not have the resources that larger churches have, we take seriously, and have developed ministries to help us fulfill both parts of the Great Commission: seeking to win the lost AND teaching our members what it means to live out our faith, to make a difference, and to be disciples. Check us out...there's something for everyone!!
Faith Builders: Each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm we have Faith Builders...which is a Bible Study, but in overdrive! Faith Builders is, just what it's name implies...a faith building experience. Each week we discuss Scripture, ask questions, and delve into the deeper issues of the faith and ask the tough questions. In addition, each Faith Builders is kicked off with dinner at 6:30 pm. Faith Builders meets at the church.
Young Adults: The second Wednesdays of each month our young adults (40 and under) meet for food, fun and fellowship. One month we may go bowling, another to a movie, or yet another have a game night...but always, there will be Christ Jesus lifted up and exalted!
Youth Ministry: "Jesus, Inc." is Restoration Church's ministry to our Youth...it meets each Thursday at 7:03 pm. Our Youth Director, Tyler Chenault, has has a lot of experience working with young people to help turn their lives around. He has a passion and a heart to see young people equipped with the knowledge, love and strength to face the challenges they face in this ever more secularized world. Jesus, Inc. gives our Youth the tools they need to stand strong and make a difference in the world!
Children's Church: Restoration Church offers a vibrant and fun Children's Church experience for kids 3-10 years old. Each Sunday morning they have the opportunity to learn about the Lord through age appropriate lessons. And for your child's safety, our teachers have all passed criminal background checks.
Men's Ministry: Jesus challenged His disciples to be fishers of men. During "Fishers of Men" the men of the fellowship are challenged to stand up and be the man of God he has called us to be in his home, church and community. A child's first image of our heavenly Father is their earthly father...we want to rise to that challenge! We meet each Tuesday evening at 7 pm, at the church.
Women's Ministry: Women face many challenges in the world today...they often must balance work, children, home and marriage. It can be a real struggle. "Women of Faith" helps women grow into the woman God is calling her to be. We seek to break through the image society has slapped on women and become all that God blessed us to be! Women of Faith meet at at the church each Tuesday at 7 pm.
Nursing Home Ministry: On a regular basis, members of Restoration Church go to Crestview Assisted Living to minister to the residents. In addition, during the holiday season we make sure that residence are remembered and loved.
Outreach Opportunities: At Restoration Church, we believe that it's not enough to just learn, we've got to put our faith into action. As we grow, we are developing opportunities for our members to exercise their faith. We are active in jail ministry, door-to-door neighborhood visitation/invitation, outreach to the Battered Women's Shelter, and active community outreach through picnics and other events.
Ministries in the Plans: Restoration Church continually looks for ways to reach out to the community in the love and power of Jesus Christ. As God provides us with visions...we lay them out and trust God to bring the people and resources to fulfill these ministries. Right now, we have several visions that we are trusting God for...and who knows...maybe you're the one to help make these ministries become realities?! The following are the ministries we are waiting for God to bring about: Restoration Builders (doing free repair work for widows and others in need), Puppet Ministry (going to various lower economic areas of town and providing puppet ministry to the neighborhood kids), FREE alcohol and drug healing groups, anger management classes, parenting classes, and aerobics classes. So, if you feel led to step out in faith...Restoration Church is the place to do it!!
